Scalable Atomic ion Qubit Machine

Founded in 2016, IonQ is setting out to build a fully operational trapped-ion quantum computing platform based on research performed at both Duke University and University of Maryland. IonQ was incubated in stealth by NEA and its scientific co-founders, Professor Chris Monroe (UMD) and Professor Jungsang Kim (Duke), two of the foremost leading scientists in their field.
